Yellow Spider

We had a nice quiet day. It was exactly what I needed. In the early afternoon, we head outside to get some fresh air. I was about to sit down in a lawn chair when I noticed this little guy hangin' off the back. I moved him to our picnic table, and went for the camera. I was surprised to find him happily waiting for me.

I love my 100mm macro lens for portraits, but I struggle with actually taking decent macros. I just can't hold still enough, and I am always so surprised how high my aperature needs to be to get the entire bug in focus. They always look so good in the tiny camera screen, and then not so good once I get it on the computer. One of these days I'll get the hang of it.
