Brooklyn Book Festival

Today has been a fantastic day! I ran two miles for the first time ever, and went to the Brooklyn Book Festival with Melanie, my mom, Ethan and the dogs! My mom bought me Drown by Junot Diaz. I am beyond excited to read it. I also ascertained a list of books that were banned or in some way challenged. I have found a new list of books to read, although most I actually have already read. I was really surprised at some of the books listed.

In other news, Melanie and Brooklyn are two peas in a pod.
