Jumping For Joy!

Here are the Yeovil players celebrating their third goal to go up 3-1 just before half time at home to Accrington Stanley this afternoon.

After last Saturday's humiliating defeat at Luton, we looked a really decent team in the first half today, playing quick, incisive football and taking our chances well.

Accrington, who had won their previous two games, really came at us in the second half, scoring early, but with a bit of luck and some resilient defending, we managed to hang on for a morale-boosting 3-2 win and could even have scored a fourth late on.

As regular visitors might note, this is a slightly different view of the game than my normal Yeovil blips; with Chris on crutches, we had to abandon our normal standing spot on the terraces behind the goal for a seat in the stand. Perhaps we'll have to do it more often!
