A last view...

... of the azure sea in Nice, taken from the hotel roof just before our departure to the airport.

This was the start of a nine hour journey to home, because our cruise company insists on using scheduled flights. We could have taken a direct cheaper flight from Nice to Leeds, saving at least half the time.

So here we are at Amsterdam Airport with a further 90 minutes to wait for our second flight. Then it will be relative normality at home, for a couple of days, before our next adventure starts on Tuesday.
