Bee-eater #raptorcamp

I could have posted any number of dead, dying or injured birds today. But after the appalling death of the hobby yesterday and the wounded kestrel (right wing is badly wounded and not looking good) I couldn't face posting another image of misery.

I'm tired, miserable and emotional, this bird cheered me up. A bee-eater in fine plumage, no obvious signs of being shot at - hopefully long enough to migrate at least!
