A day of ups and downs

Ups - swam in the morning; had coffee with my friends K and E and A. K has cancer but is doing really well; took back M' s sweatshirt that he left here; watched 'Gardener's World' and learned how to propagate clematis.

Downs - did at least 2 hours work on my day off; got as far as ordering lunch at Dobbies before I realised my purse was in the worktop at home; didn't go to bed early; no gardening as it rained, again.
