A Title Fight

My Detroit Tigers have lost. My Detroit Lions have lost. My favorite golfer in in about 15th place. (Matt Kuchar.)

It might be time to drown my sorrows in a backyard walk.

I was looking for some fabulous color to offset the gray dismal sports day. Instead...I spot a spider feasting on a fly.

Who do you root for...
when a spider fights a fly?
I don't care for either one,
I cannot tell a lie.

The fly...he eats my doggie's doo,
disgusting, awful, sick.
The spider gives me nightmares...
I hunt them with a stick.

I will not root for either one...
least one of them had lunch.
He nibbled on the doo-eating fly...
munch...munch...munch.
