WOOD PIGEON FOR BREAKFAST.

Rain this morning so did not go a walk early, and glad I waited because suddenly this beautiful Sparrowhawk grabbed a wood pigeon and started to pluck it. So hard to get photos as it was so nervous, but thrilled to get what I did. Sorry if it is gruesome for some, but that is nature and the Sparrowhawk also has to eat. Do hope you like this beautiful bird.
Just waiting for the rain to clear (hopefully) then off for my dog walk.
