Young seal

Great Nature Photography Club trip to Tumbledown Bay today. Weather amazing, birds, rock stacks, scenery, seals. This young seal posed for a long time before taking off into the water.

Some young people were surfing and a seal came and surfed with them, deliberately seeking them out and wanting them to play. When they surfed in the seal would join them and all had a fun time. Then sometimes it would show off, leaping out of the water around them.

People pay to swim with seals, but having one come to play with you unexpectedly would be a memory to treasure.
