Went out for lunch and stopped off in a village pub on way back for a pint.. There were 4 retired local guys there and they soon invited us to join them on thier table. This was John the eldest at 86. During the war he done the 10 day paratrooper course but after qualifying they found out he had delivered bread when he was younger so took him on as a cook.. He couldn't understand why they did it either lol..

Great bunch of blokes who made us more than welcome, we popped in for 30 minutes and ended up staying for hours.. we made the bloke late going home as well so our names were probably dirt with thier wives lol
