An August Night

Thanks to all of you who commented on my photo from yesterday. Your words make me really appreciate this community. It was an essential day for us, and more celebratory as it all turned out. Kirb would have loved it.

I think the trick in life is to regard each moment as if you won't ever see it again. Easier said than done, I know.

Oreo came in tonight, a cooler temperature, and she's digging the bonding time. She loves music, any kind really, and we are sitting back now with some easy listening. It's all good, this August Friday night.
