Top of the world!

Gordon on the top of Traprain Law, East Lothian. We had planned a day together and said, "if it's sunny, we'll cycle to some castles". That changed slightly to cycling to some Iron Age sites, which he's keen on since he did his "Romans and Celts" topic at school, which he obviously memorised from start to finish. I learned a lot.

Sizable Summit Celebration.

We cycled about 40km (25 miles) which is far enough, but when you look at the elevation profile of the route you'll see that there was a fair bit of up and down! (We recorded the route on the Nikon AW100, the first time I've used that feature and a genuinely useful thang. I'll do that again...)

We had a lovely day which made a lovely weekend for all us lads. Poor Katie missed out a bit so she's due some special attention next weekend.
