Pre-theatre picnic....

In the grounds of St John's College Cambridge this evening. 

After a good morning having a coffee with Gagetkid in a new find I had wee bit of trouble with my car, but an excellent AA man helped D drive her home where she will wait to be taken to the garage for a repair,  we left for Sawston to see J & A and watch King Lear in the Summer Shakespeare Festival. A new one for us. Gory in parts and not a happy ending, but an excellent performance. 

We left Sawston at 11pm  to find the M11 was closed for night time road works so we were diverted to the A10; a familiar route until we stopped for fuel and followed diversion signs but got a bit lost and found ourselves in Chingford! The home town of sister 4 and her husband so not a problem but extra mileage added and we finally arrived home at 1.30 am....

Straight to bed so posting this on 11th August....
