Loch Morlich

This is a brilliant little hill walk. We left the loch side (Loch Morlich), stopped briefly at the magical green loch then turned left on to the hill at Ryvoan Bothy. The ascent was fast and easy on stone pavement verged with beautiful purple heather. We arrived at the summit and briefly had the place to ourselves. We were back home at the holiday house before lunchtime. Meantime Mrs SJR had a good 6km run in the Boat of Garten woodland.

On removing my compact camera from the rucksack to take some images at the Green Lochan I was disappointed that I had somehow smashed the display. It already has a sensor mark top right (visible at small apertures), a review button which no longer works and now this.

It still works and for that I am thankful.
