Playlist

A second major item on my summer playlist has been done for the first time...a decent bike ride. I got both our bikes roadworthy again this morning. Some of you will be shocked to know that the last time I rode this or any bike was 15 years ago. The bike itself is 17 years old . . . an Italian job in very good knick. It was fun especially moving with purpose in 21st gear along the cycle lanes of Avda. Diagonal. There are pretty curvy bits at the far end with places to sit and drink from the fountains. The weirdest thing was to discover that the pedal, cycle, handlebar relationship was not at all as I remember it. Still, at least I kept my balance!
