Soaking Sunday
House parties tend to be 'messy' affairs and both Clare and I awoke with hangovers this morning following Anna's 40th Birthday Party next door.
Clare was on rugby duty, taking Joshua to rugby training whilst I went to the Mayors Civic Service which was also the re-dedication of the Falmouth Royal Naval Association Standard.
It lashed down with rain and blew a gale which made the parade a bit of a damp squib, literally, but the church service was excellent as was the reception afterwards at the Watersports Centre.
The late afternoon early evening today is a very quiet time in the Stevens household, first fire of the winter lit, roast dinner, TV and probably an early night.
