Blast from the past!

This afternoon has been full of wonderful people...firstly seeing Jess & Mary who used to volunteer for 24-7 Ibiza...great to catch up on news! Then straight on to meet an old uni friend who I'd not seen since we graduated in 2005! We did African Studies with Development together and volunteered in Ghana together...it was so SO good to catch up on the last 12 years and to reminisce about some of our west african adventures! And whilst I was with her & her friend, I bumped into Alessio, Marco SH & Pino! Plus Juan Knoplfler from Sa Penya. And the entire time Nate was a chilled out star...even when we then saw our neighbour who was pretty much in his pushchair with him, and Maria from outside the supermarket, who gave his legs such a squeeze I thought she might leave marks!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) People making the time in their holidays to meet up with me.
2) The temperature drop and fresh air...though the storm has done a lot of damage across the island.
3) An early afternoon read with Asha - Brer Rabbit.
