Stacked

Sunshine for a change today and no coat and umbrella required for our walks. My latest book (Hag Seed by Margaret Atwood) held my attention for quite a bit of today until it was finished. Other than that, jobs done to prep for the new carpet tomorrow, including washing down skirting and walls from Bailey's wet weather shakes and emptying the sideboard and bookcase. These piles constitute one and a half shelves - and the heaviest books so they were parked on the stairs -  but not even 10% of the books in the whole house. Might be time for another book purge. That's another job for the Summer List.
