Sorry boys, it's broken...

My poor boys, every single time we go anywhere near these 'rides', I tell them they are broken.  I also curse any parent I see who is pumping their pound coins into them, proving that they are not broken and making my children beg to go on one....  Then, no the roller-coaster of emotions that appears to go with motherhood, I have utter, utter guilt that they are deprived children with a mother who denies them simple pleasures. Today, it gets worse, there was a mini fun-fair in the town centre and I didn't stop to let them go on any of the 'made for toddlers' rides.

After feeling like I was winning at mother hood yesterday, today I haven't, we're all been a bit out of sorts, mainly because I have been out of sorts.  But, we got through the day, and this evening, was ladies night in the village.  Off to the pub, I didn't stay to eat, but turns out it's a pretty good night out.  A couple of the ladies arrived and ordered a bottle of wine, so I think it's a bit of a knees up as well.  Very nice village to live in.
