I officially joined today now that I have an address etc. they're a friendly bunch of women who come from not only the UK but Canada and other places Thursday is drop-in day and Mondays is coffee mornings. Friendship, support and advice - I'm looking forward to meeting regularly.

Two good classes tonight. One of my students told me he'd drive home down love drive on the way home. I found out later that cars of young men and cars of young women cruise along here and throw pieces of paper with phone numbers into other cars.

Embassy night tonight. Nice to have a couple of drinks with colleagues. Interesting to note that male expats significantly outnumber females, if the mix at the bar is representative of the expat population.
