Sedum

Geranium Rozanne climbing through Sedum telephium Purple Emperor. The mauve of the sedum seems to work well with the chocolatey purple of the sedum, which is well into bud now. We cut the sedum back earlier in the summer to restrict its growth, otherwise it just grows tall and falls open leaving a not very good-looking gap in the centre. Consequently it flowers a little later than it otherwise would, but once it starts it'll go on for ages and the bees will be crazy for it.
