Moonscape

It may look like a beach but in fact it is the wind-blasted - and I speak from experience - top of Kinder Scout. We ended the weekend with a 7.5 mile walk and the wind at the top was surprisingly cold for mid-September - we were all glad to dip beneath the edge and begin the descent to the reservoir.
