Taormina

Took a bus to Taormina today. We left early in the hope of beating the tourist influx and before it became unbearably hot. Hubby was glad that we took the bus instead of driving himself as the road was steep with many sharp corners. The bus driver had to do a very quick stop and one of the passengers fell off her seat. I'm sure she would have bruises to validate her story later.

We visited the theatre first and managed to miss the crowds. Not so lucky in the town but managed to find a lovely little restaurant up a quiet alley for lunch.
