English summer

A rather wet day when I met some friends at Biggles Restaurant, at Denham Airport - not commercial, mainly private pilots and some executive jets.

Excellent food, through the wet window and beyond the front garden is a hedge with a gap, the gate says "airside" and beyond are the planes. And Biggles? A fictional character, WWII fighter pilot - Spitfires, the creation of Captain W E Johns whose books proved popular when I was a lad.
