Summer Hols

Two days ago daughter Kate had a post on her Facebook about a 1973 VW bus (T2) for sale in Tipperary for 18,500€ and commenting how she would like one. The older split screen T1s cost even more.

Coincidentally a newspaper popped through the letterbox with an article about holidays of the past and mentioning the role the VW Bus had on the growth of Germans holiday horizons.

Also reminded me of one short weekend in 1976 where a VW Bus played a central role and have found the photo and backbliped it.
