Western Farm Supply
It's been awhile since OilMan joined me at Flying Goat, but he brought Ozzie this morning and met me there after my class. After our Aztek Mochas, we walked over to Western farm supply to replenish our supply of dog toys, gutted by Blake and Rudy. We'll keep the carcases for Blake and Rudy when they come to visit. Dogs are always welcome in the store despite the myriad temptations, and they keep a bowl of treats on the counter for distribution at checkout. These three had all been looking in different directions until they noticed Ozzie when they snapped to attention.
Enrique, Pedro's dad and Hector returned this morning to dig out the remaining agave stump. Enrique still had hives on his arms, but they didn't seem to be bothering him very much according to OilMan. Our neighbor, who has been a good source of information regarding the previous owners of our house, told us that they paid $400 for the agave plant which doesn't surprise me because it was a beautiful and sculptural plant. What DID surprise me was that they chose to put such a big plant behind a wall close to the house. Once it was taken out, a big boulder was revealed behind it.
Dana is already planning how to move it forward a few feet, but since OilMan has just been diagnosed with a hernia, I think we'll hold off on moving any more rocks....
