Ouch

The next few days will be fuelled by arnica and ibuprofen following and unscheduled dismount from an unruly horse. Suspect the warm weather and rain have put a lot of sugar in the grass and he was feeling it. Reared and span round just as I'd got on and before I'd got my feet in the stirrups properly. Think it's about 16 years since I last came off so have been pretty lucky.

Thankfully just bruises and sore muscles from the escapade and a quiet cob came to the rescue for me to have a walk around on so all was not lost.
