Shield bug

Coffeepotter blipped one of these a few days ago.  I know it isn't the same one as I had seen this crawling up our sitting room curtains the same day.  However,  by the time I got my camera it had disappeared.  

It then reappeared in our downstairs toilet this morning (although I suppose it could be a second one)

They arent very beautiful (unless you happen to be a shield bug of the opposite gender) but they are fascinating
