Red, white and blue...

... on the beach in Nice, this afternoon.

We left the river cruise after breakfast, arriving in Nice around lunch time. Temperatures still around 30°C here at the coast.

Though we enjoyed the cruise, It feels good to get away from the superbly organised but rather controlling programme of the past 7 days. We're in a city we know well and can enjoy a few days at leisure before we fly home on Saturday.
