Wild Wednesday: "Boat? What boat?!?"

Arrived at Loch Fyne this afternoon, to spend  a few days here on the West Coast. I took the big lens out - my Sigma 600mm mirror job - and while getting the hang again of its manual focus and narrow DoF failed miserably to get a decent shot of the gannets that were swooping and diving. Will try harder...

I had better luck with these two cormorants. Actually, at first I thought there was only one - they were both facing the same way, and I assumed I was seeing a single bird and his shadow. Then the bigger one turned to face the other way! :)
