Bloomin' Onion (ornamental, that is)

This is one of my favorite perennials. I've only recently dusted off my old beloved Canon. Turns out those cheapie 50mm lenses don't last forever so I bought another. This time I went with the super cheapie version (non Canon brand). It works like a charm. Oh how I've missed getting up close and personal with sunshine and blooms.

Oh blipfoto, it's so hard to choose just one.
