What did the bible say about Joseph and his sheafs of corn? Perhaps this was what was being studied as someone laid their corn in the sun, before sending it to the mill. Ground maize or corn (maize meal) is a staple in huge swaths of Africa, going by the name of posho here, ugali in East Africa, nshima in areas further south, and likely a multitude of other names. It's heavy and bland but alright with a helping of spicy beans.
