Beetroot Cake

Recipe courtesy of Cats and Dogs I think - user names v real life names makes my brain ache after 2 glasses of wine and I can confirm it is indeed lush! Although it got a bit burnt on the top so we ate that bit from the oven .

A slow day today mostly due to the awful weather. Ben took Ally and Lily to a much shortened rugby training. I tried to put the heating in for their return, only to find that it wouldn't work. Less than 2 years after we had it all done. Grrrrrrrr!

I made cake, Ally made rice crispie cake. Ben tinkered unsuccessfully with a solenoid. Bella watched Coraline. Lily went to Emily's. Red snoozed in the chair!

Lazy Sunday indeed.

I have blip for yesterday but it is in the camera so requires a little more effort - I'll get into it later Mum...
