Shugo, I Think

This is Shugo. He approached me when I was taking pictures on the Sanjo bridge this morning. It turns out that Shugo (I think that was his name - Shojo means girl, so I don't think that was it) worked as a professor in Belfast, Dublin and Derry for over twelve years. One of those "small world" things. Lovely, friendly guy. Nice to meet you, Shugo!
From here, I travelled to Kyoto Station via the subway. It's a very impressive place and is one of Japan's biggest buildings. Lots of opportunities for snapping away as you can see in the Flickr group below. Another very enjoyable day, despite the mosquitoes feasting on my legs.
Two links below. The first is the Flickr group with all 97 pictures including today's.
The second is my Favourites So Far link, which has 15 images at the moment, if you haven't much time.
I should have another blog post up by tomorrow. Link for that will be in tomorrow's Blip.
