River Walk

Today we visited Morpeth as my old uncle is in hospital beside there.  Morpeth itself is pretty chaotic as the main street is dug up to install new gas pipes.  The work is going to take 8 weeks.  It seems a strange time to do such major work during the main summer holiday period.  It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town to have a walk by the River Wansbeck.
