Over the Meldons

I let the genie out of the bottle this morning after we drove down to Pebbles by indulging in a very large and delicious walnut and cranberry scone.
We had hired a City Car Club car to enable us to get to Stobo Castle and pay for the upcoming mother and daughter bonding in October. I told myself I needed the sustenance to help cope with the emptying of the coffers for our now annual spa stay.

We began theses visits to celebrate 50th birthdays and last year a 30th wedding anniversary. This year there is a 50th birthday but since it is a son, we girls will celebrate in the hot tub for him.

En route I found a new miniskirt going for a song in a Peebles charity shop. It is a size 10. After that scone, I am frightened to try it on.
