Mufti day.....

Finally posted on 9th August...

A day to do as we please! Most are on this holiday actually although we have  joined others in our group some days and explored together. 

So we took the winding, cobbled road down to our nearest beach and had an iced coffee Italian style under the shade of an umbrella watching braver sorts out in the sun. Think it's up to 39 in the shade today. Then the same road back up with a diversion that took us passed this amazing emporium which looks to sell pretty much everything but definitely lots of baskets and garden chairs! 

Weddings happen often and anywhere here and we came across another as photos were being taken. A beautiful bride, handsome groom and happy friends and family! The guests were served cold drinks from the little mobile bar...a Fiat. When the party moved on, the waiter packed everything back into the car, folded the umbrella and drove off. Excellent idea! 

We didn't manage the planned visit back to Sorrento...manyana..(or the Italian equivalent)
