A very cute little boy came up to me in the botanics today and said in a very sweet confident voice " I think this doggy would like this stick". Luckily he didn't seem phased by the fact that poppy expressed absolutely no interest in it or him whatsoever. A few minute later poppy managed to yank the lead from my hands and sprinted off into the distance. I then had to chase after the escapee and was frantically looking for her. Stumbled across her sitting demurely at the feet of some German tourists who had picked up her lead and laughed at me as I came running breathless towards them.
Busy shift at work with lots of groups of old people coming in which is unusual.
By some strange act of fate I bumped into Heather on the bridge at just the right moment to stop her doing something very stupid. We then sat and charged on a bench. Two guys sped dangerously past on BMXs and an older man walking his dog asked us "Why are young men such fucking idiots ?" ...
Went to Hayburn for the evening and a drunken flora had a melt down, so Ruben Sarah Alice and I left early and went for a drink at Bank Street.
