Hey, I could be doing that !
Buster has stayed all day at the far end of Sandy Beach. He slipped back into the water just after 6PM. He (literally) rolled sideways, in increments, down the beach into the water.
Another seal has also been in the news. Rocky gave birth to Kaimana on Kaimana Beach which is right next door to the Natatorium Memorial in Waikiki which has been declared unsafe. NOAA has cordoned off a part of the beach to allow the baby to develop. Seals wean their pups at about 6 weeks (40 days) and they then fend for themselves. Kaimana is getting adventurous and has now twice swum into the Natatorium by herself, while mother lies calling on the beach. So it's been decided to re-release Kaimana to an undisclosed location for her own protection. Wishing her all the best.
