One ball lost

We returned to the pool, this time with a toy, hoping for some paddling and splashing. Well, the ball was dropped at the water's edge where it proceeded to roll quickly beneath the water and out of sight. Some stones were thrown in to try and get an idea of the pool's depth, confirming that it was too deep and murky to wade in to retrieve it, not that we could even see it, although I did take a few nervous steps forward and got very oily, muddy feet for my trouble. The dogs knew better.

One ball lost. Won't be trying that again.
