Berenada!

The 8th August is the most important date in the Ibiza calender...it's the fiesta day celebrating the island, but also the date celebrating Ibiza Town's patron saint...so all day long there have been events happening. We joined in tonight with the Berenada...we joined the band led procession in town & walked up through the tunnel & down to the rocks where a huuuge Paella was bubbling away. A couple of the Caña Club guys, and H&J all came & we picnicked (sp??!) on the rocks before enjoying free paella. A thoroughly wonderful evening, rounded off with orange & basil ice cream....and I can hear the fireworks as I blip this! 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Long afternoon naps.
2) Asha coping well with a disappointment.
3) Living somewhere that knows how to celebrate!
