An Event Day

It was a special event day today on the Poppy Line with some vintage carriages being used and two of the less frequently operated (and more impressive) engines being run simultaneously. One of the carriages was a sister carriage to the travelling bar used in The Titfield Thunderbolt. So with too much to choose from I've blipped a postcard. Tickets are now on sale for the 40's weekend in September where everyone dresses up - can't wait to see this!
