Aiguille du Murky

After the fabulous weather of yesterday, we were woken this morning by very heavy rainfall. The whole Chamonix valley was full of fast moving grey clouds, it was quite difficult to see the mountains. It was fascinating to watch fleeting views of the mountains appear and disappear but it didn't matter because today was travel home day. A few photos were taken (wiping the rain off the lens after each shot) but the priority was packing. After a hearty breakfast, we hit the road to get our flight from Geneva.

After a very wet drive, we arrived to find our flight was cancelled. Thankfully we were quickly able to transfer our booking across from our planned Swiss Air flight to British Airways. It was an earlier flight so it was a bit of a rush but we made it.

Home then, Leonard was very pleased to see us. A really great week away.
