Kelso Abbey

I had a rare afternoon to myself today, after Wee B's Rookie Lifeguard lesson. She went off to her wee friend's house so I decided to go on a mini day trip to Kelso in the Borders. I explored the Abbey first, then went for a walk along the river Teviot and had a wee picnic there. On the way back, I went around the town centre which is really rather lovely.
This blip is the dahlias in the immaculately kept war memorial garden next to the Abbey.
