Measuring The Earth An Inch At A Time
Another day of cool, damp, dull weather. I found a young black and yellow rape shieldbug. I've never photographed one before. My pic is of a tiny caterpillar on common fleabane. It's a looper from the Geometridae. The name means earth measurer. They measure the earth at an inch at a time and are also known as inch worms. I've tried to identify the caterpillar and the closest I can get is that it is of a brindled pug moth.
Today's poem is Proportion by Ben Jonson. http://www.eliteskills.com/analysis_poetry/It_Is_Not_Growing_Like_A_Tree_by_Ben_Jonson_analysis.php
