Guess what.......

I've had a letter published in the Guardian today!  It's about the Fibonacci numbers.

A previous correspondent pointed out that the ratio between each pair of successive numbers is 1.6 and that's the same ratio as the conversion from miles to kilometres. Fascinating. My letter was much less academic, pointing out that I now use it as an anti-insomnia tactic (to add to counting backwards in 7s, and listing fruit and veg in alphabetical order!
