The door fell off!

Pottered around tidying up the garden this morning

This afternoon we went to Gibraltar Point ....... had a lovely walk with some sunshine but a few dark clouds ...... thankfully it stayed dry.

We saw a Stoat which ran across the path in front of us ..... then popped back out for another look ....... I almost got a photo but he disappeared again a couple of seconds too soon!

We were surprised to see a Red Kite circling overhead ...... didn't realise there were any around here!

We also saw Dabchick & young ...... Swan & cygnets ....... Greenshank ........ Black-tailed Godwit & a Sedge Warbler :-)

Left: Wall Brown butterfly ....... first one I've even seen
Right: a Cormorant having a preen

We had just finished washing up after our dinner when the door of the kitchen cupboard fell off! Not at all what you expect to happen when you try to open it! The board behind the hinge had disintegrated ...... hopefully we can move the hinge above it & repair it that way!





I have also posted tomorrow's Never lean on a sliding door! ...... & Tuesday's It rained! ........ do hope you will take a look ...... forgot to post this one first! :-)
