Family time

Back in February, at a much sadder time, we decided that it was really time to meet up when circumstance didn't 'force' us to. The realisation that for many years cousins had only met up for weddings and funerals. For once we were quick to set a date and on Saturday we descended on my big sister and her family.

17 adults in total. 5 children. 2 dogs. It was lovely to see everyone. I am not sure, as always, how far I actually got into a proper conversation with anyone. But it was as lovely day.

Auntie Rosie declared it was her best birthday in years, so my blip had to be this picture.

And I am pleased with the light and the smoke from the candles!
