Feather to the rescue

It was blowing a hoolie this morning and even if there had been no wind, there was nothing much colourful in the garden on my macro safari this morning.  And so to find something a little colourful I raided my feather box.  I think this is from a Rainbow Lorrikeet although it could be from a King Parrot or even an Eastern Rosella.  I remember picking it up in the park and I have seen all three species down there.

Not much else to report today.  Just back from a branch meeting and woefully behind in journals again.  Thanks to Osuzanna for hosting  Tiny Tuesday this month.
