One of those days!

I guess you could say it was a full on day today. An early start with a big drive down to Westmead (an hour and a half away) for an appointment and then back to Penrith for a second one. One both occasions we had to wait well over an hour to see the specialists but we are both very patient because they are two incredible doctors who never rush their appointments and are very very thorough.

The Westmead Hospital has one of the most glorious Florists on site and they have saved my blip bacon on a couple of other occasions. I couldn't believe the size of these lilies. A very bright and colourful part of our day.

All is well, it was just a check up day today, but you can bet your boots we were very happy to be home, fire alight and a hot cuppa in hand :-)
